It wasn't until the manager actually came in between the tables and helped us with our order. (tables who were seatrd right after us, surrounding my table were helped quickly and they made their orders/received their food before us) We made eye contact, trying to waive down anyone to help us, but they would look at us and not walk toward us at all. After seating us they took our drink order and then it took over 15 min for any waiter or waitress to ever approach us again. After waiting an hour to be seated (pretty normal) on a busy Saturday night, they sat my party of 2 at a table in the center of the restaurant. But on my last visit on, the service was horrible. I've been here 4-5 times and had normal to good experiences. The reason why I'm updating my review rating is because of a recent visit. I appreciate the love and joy the workers have with their customers but it definitely doesn't help when the restaurant is packed and people are waiting for service. But when it is busy, they do struggle just a bit to show equal service, especially when their repeat customers come in as they are definitely shown public favoritism. Nigiri:4/5 (fish is long and thin but very little rice) Sushi roll taste: 3/5 Baked roll taste: 4/5 Sashimi quality: 4/5 Apps & other food: 3/5 Sushi variety: 3/5 (just variations of California roll and spicy tuna roll with toppings) Service: 1/5 ( formerly 4/5) When the waiters and waitresses have time they can definitely show good service. Previously I would rate this ayce sushi a 4/5 but after a recent visit I am lowering my score to a 2/5 overall Tl Dr good food, but horrible service if you're seated in the center between tables. Service is definitely a 4/5 now as the speed and attention from the employees has greatly improved. I'm now here at least once a month and the food and service quality has been consistently good. Although I didn't want to come back at first, I'm glad I did. AYCE Sushi HB has actively been doing really well in handling customers and making sure service is done well. There are so many other rolls to write about, but my stomach is throwing in the towel. You’re going to have to come in and try it for yourself. Sorry, I don’t have a picture of those rolls. Our rolls are broken down into 5 types: Cut, Specialty Cut, Baked, Tempura, and No-Rice Specialty Rolls. Why? So our customers can try more rolls without filling up. Most of our rolls are either 4 or 6 pieces, not 8.
